The main part of the exhibition is Rune Arnhoffs' collection of 3000 bibles. The collection includes a varied assortment of Norwegian, Nordic and foreign Bibles.
The collection contains several cultural treasures. Some of the rarest are a copy of Gustav Vasa's bible from 1541, an original page from The Gutenberg Bible, a Latin Bible from 1487 and handwritten pages from around 1250 . The museum will also display historical material from other collections.
